The microprocessor-based controller for the LYVZ series automatic circuit recloser provides an all-in-one solution for protection, control, monitoring, metering, and data logging. It ensures intelligent and autonomous operation in distribution networks, enabling remote control and SCADA system integration.

Equipped with RS485 communication ports and optional RS232 rear connections, this controller supports seamless data exchange for advanced automation applications.

The controller is built around the Feeder Terminal Unit (FTU), which contains essential electronics, logic circuits, and a battery-backed auxiliary power supply. This design ensures uninterrupted performance even during power failures or emergencies.

A user-friendly screen display allows field operators to easily configure protection functions, view fault logs, and monitor system status.
