VS1-24 series of indoor high voltage vacuum circuit breaker with embedded poles is three phrase A.C.50 Hz indoor power distribution equipment with the rated voltage of 24 KV. It’s used for protecting and controlling the electrical equipment in the fields of industry and mining enterprise, power plants and substation.

The main conductive circuit of this type vacuum circuit breaker with spring mechanism is embedded pole,that can greatly improve the reliability of insulation, mechanical and breaking performance and really realize the free-maintenance and longer mechanical and electrical life. This type of 24kV VCB conforms to national standards and the stipulations of IEC standard. The capability reaches grade of M-E2-C2.

Working Principle of VS1-24kV Indoor HV Withdrawable Type Vacuum Circuit Breaker

The vacuum circuit breaker working principle is: when the moving and static contacts are opened under the action of the operating mechanism, an arc is generated between the circuit breaker contacts, and the surface of the contacts volatilizes at high temperature. When passing through, a magnetic field is generated, and the arc moves rapidly along the tangential direction of the contact surface under the action of this magnetic field. Part of the metal vapor is condensed on the metal cylinder (shield), and the arc is extinguished when it naturally crosses zero. The strength of the medium quickly recovered.
