This series of indoor, three-phase AC load break switches represents our newly developed generation of medium-voltage switching equipment, engineered specifically as a direct alternative to traditional SF6 gas-insulated switches. Utilizing clean air insulation and a vacuum interrupter, this LBS series achieves a greenhouse warming potential (GWP) of zero, complying with global decarbonization mandates and SF6-free grid regulations.
Designed for high structural adaptability, the phase-to-phase distance can be configured from 210mm to 230mm to integrate into standard panel framework widths (such as 500mm). Furthermore, the structural dimensions and pitch can be customized and evaluated based on specific customer requirements and enclosure designs, ensuring seamless compatibility for various retrofitting project needs.

Based on the engineering blueprints of the switch assembly (as shown in image_59871c.png), the product consists of the following core structural functional modules:
1. Vacuum Load Break Switch (with Integrated 3-Position Disconnector)
Function: Integrates circuit breaking, isolation, and grounding into a single physical unit.
Mechanism: The vacuum interrupter handles load current interruption, while the visible three-position air-break disconnector secures “Closed – Open – Earth” states. Positive mechanical interlocks prevent out-of-sequence operations.
2. Operating Mechanism
Design: Configured with independent double-spring energy storage mechanisms for the LBS and the grounding operations.
Automation: Manual operation is standard; includes modular secondary terminal interfaces for motor-driven upgrades compatible with Feeder Automation (FTU) systems.
3. Support Insulator
Design: High mechanical strength post insulators engineered to withstand peak electrodynamic forces under 20kA short-circuit conditions.
Creepage: Optimized skirt profile maintains required dielectric insulation levels at a narrow 210mm – 230mm phase pitch.
SF6 Gas Replacement: Meets regional environmental regulations prohibiting or taxing SF6 gas usage in power grids.
Compact RMU Manufacturing: Fits into 500mm wide eco-gas insulated ring main units (RMU).
Infrastructure Upgrades: Engineered for industrial substations, commercial distribution centers, and compact package substations where footprint expansion is restricted.
