The CXJG-8 operating mechanism is designed specifically for switchgear drawer units that require greater operational force. Constructed with a dual-head screw mechanism made from high-strength, wear-resistant engineering plastic, it reduces the required operating force by half compared to standard mechanisms.
Featuring clear text indicators for “Connected,” “Test,” and “Disconnected” positions along with audible feedback, this mechanism enhances drawer positioning visibility and safety. The operating mechanism also integrates an independent ON/OFF switch at both test and working positions for electric control versions, providing flexible and precise control.
A 24mm travel from the test to the connected position ensures stable movement, and optional guide rails help reduce panel deformation and insertion/extraction resistance.

Operating Positions
Disconnected Position:
Drawer can be pushed in or pulled out. Indicator shows “Disconnected”. This is the starting position before rotation.
Test Position:
Rotate clockwise from disconnected to test position. The drawer moves forward; indicator shows “Test”. Microswitch engages, secondary circuit connected. Drawer is locked in place.
Connected Position:
Rotate clockwise from test to connected. Indicator shows “Connected”. Microswitch disengages, both primary and secondary circuits are live. Drawer and mechanism are fully locked.
