Features of CXJG-8 labor-saving drawer advancing mechanism

The CXJG-8 Labor-Saving Advancing Mechanism is specially developed for upgraded GCS-type low-voltage withdrawable switchgear. It is designed to handle large current drawer units, providing users with an efficient, safe, and smooth drawer operation experience. Its unique dual-worm gear structure, reinforced components, and reliable safety interlocking make it a high-performance choice for modern power distribution cabinets.

Key Features
Dual Worm Gear Design:
Provides multi-turn, labor-saving hand-crank operation, suitable for large-current units requiring higher torque.

Durable High-Strength Plastic Components:
All key mechanical parts are made of high-strength, wear-resistant engineering plastic, ensuring long-term durability.

Heavy-Gauge Steel Construction:
The base and core structure are fabricated from thick steel plates, delivering superior stability and operational reliability.

Smooth Drawer Operation:
Enables steady and flexible drawer insertion and withdrawal, even under higher load conditions.

Precise Alignment System:
Integrated position-limiting and guiding devices minimize left-right and up-down movement, ensuring accurate engagement and reducing mechanical wear.

Three-Position Indicator with Color Coding and Audible Feedback:
Clearly marked Disconnected, Test, and Connected positions, with color labels and audible clicks for positive user feedback during operation.

Enhanced Interlock for Safety:
Once the main breaker handle is turned to the “ON” position, the crank handle port is automatically blocked, preventing drawer movement. This ensures operation safety during live conditions.

Auxiliary Circuit Testing Capability:
In the Test position, the auxiliary circuit is live, allowing users to perform breaker test operations (ON/OFF) without energizing the main circuit.

Operating Positions and Working Principle of CXJG-8 labor-saving drawer advancing mechanism

Disconnected Position
The drawer aligns with the “Disconnected” status. The user can turn the crank handle clockwise to slowly insert the drawer. Both the primary and secondary circuits are disconnected.

Test Position
Continue cranking clockwise from the “Disconnected” position. The status will change to “Test”. At this point, the secondary circuit is connected, while the primary circuit remains isolated.

Connected Position
Further clockwise rotation of the crank moves the drawer to the “Connected” position, where both primary and secondary circuits are fully engaged.
Once connected:

Remove the crank handle.

Only now can the main circuit breaker be switched ON.

After the breaker is turned ON, the crank handle port is automatically locked, preventing any further drawer movement until the breaker is turned OFF again.

Precautions
Always ensure the drawer is aligned with the “Disconnected” position before pushing it into the cabinet.

Never force the crank clockwise when the drawer is already at the “Connected” position — doing so may cause damage to the mechanism.

The crank handle must not be inserted when the main breaker is in the ON position.

Applications
The CXJG-8 mechanism is widely applied in:

GCS-type low-voltage switchgear cabinets

Industrial and infrastructure power distribution systems

Power plants, substations, and heavy machinery control systems
