What is VCB Truck (Vacuum Circuit Breaker Chassis Truck)?
What is a VCB truck?
A hand truck type vacuum circuit breaker is a common piece of electrical equipment used to protect electrical systems from faults such as overloads and short circuits. A chassis truck is a part of a hand truck type vacuum circuit breaker and is mainly used for switchgear equipment to install circuit breakers, transformers and other components. It is pushed out to play the role of auxiliary connection between components and busbars.VCB chassis truck is part of a hand truck type vacuum circuit breaker and is used to support and move the circuit breaker. It is usually made of sturdy metal material with adjustable height and easy mobility. The chassis truck is designed to provide a stable base from which the circuit breaker can be easily moved and positioned.
The handcart type circuit breaker has two positions in the switch cabinet, namely the working position and the isolation position. When the circuit breaker is in the working position, the main circuit of the switch cabinet is connected with the main circuit of the circuit breaker; when the circuit breaker is in the isolation position, the main circuit of the switch cabinet is connected. The circuit is disconnected from the main circuit of the circuit breaker. The conversion of the two positions of the circuit breaker in the switch cabinet is realized by the movement of the chassis of the handcart type circuit breaker. Since the main circuit is a high-voltage live accessory, the movement of the circuit breaker must be in the unlocked state of the chassis vehicle locking device, which means that the chassis vehicle locking device controls the movement of the chassis vehicle-carried circuit breaker in the switch cabinet.
Specification parameters:
The specification parameters of the chassis truck vary depending on the breaker model and manufacturer. In general, it should have a load capacity that meets the weight requirements of the circuit breaker and provide a stable structure and reliable mobility. The height of the chassis truck is usually adjustable to accommodate circuit breaker installations of different heights.
Material of chassis truck: chassis truck is usually made of steel or aluminium, these materials have high strength and corrosion resistance, and can withstand large weight and pressure.
Wheels of the chassis truck: the wheels of the chassis truck are usually made of materials such as rubber or polyurethane, which have good abrasion and pressure resistance. The size and number of wheels depend on the specification and carrying capacity of the chassis truck.
Adjustment device of the chassis truck: The chassis truck is usually equipped with an adjustment device, including screws, handles, etc., which is used to adjust the height and position of the chassis truck to suit different circuit breaker installation requirements.
Storage method of chassis trucks: chassis trucks usually need to be stored in a dry and ventilated place, avoiding prolonged exposure to sunlight or humid environment to prevent the metal parts of chassis trucks from rusting.
Maintenance of the chassis truck: the chassis truck needs regular maintenance, including cleaning, lubrication, checking the wheels and adjusting devices, etc., to ensure the normal use and prolong the service life of the chassis truck.
Advantages and disadvantages:
The advantage of the chassis truck is that it can easily support and move the handcart type vacuum breaker, which makes the installation and maintenance work more convenient. Chassis trucks are usually equipped with wheels, allowing the breaker to be easily moved around the job site. At the same time, chassis trucks provide additional stability to ensure the safety of the circuit breaker during transport and operation. However, chassis trucks have some drawbacks, such as potentially limited operation in tight spaces and the need for additional storage space.
Operating Instructions:
When using a VCB chassis truck, first ensure that the height of the chassis truck is suitable for the circuit breaker installation requirements. Then, place the circuit breaker on the chassis truck and ensure that the connection between the circuit breaker and the chassis truck is strong and reliable. When moving the circuit breaker, care should be taken to push it smoothly and avoid collisions and bumps. When positioning the circuit breaker, adjustments can be made using the screw or handle on the chassis truck to ensure that the circuit breaker is positioned accurately.
Caution:
When operating the chassis truck, you need to pay attention to the following matters:
1. make sure the carrying capacity of the chassis truck meets the weight requirement of the circuit breaker and avoid overloading.
2. when moving the circuit breaker, pay attention to the surrounding environment and avoid collision with other equipment or obstacles.
3. when operating the chassis truck, it should be kept smoothly pushed, avoiding bumps and shaking, so as not to cause damage to the circuit breaker.
4. when positioning the circuit breaker, the adjusting device on the chassis truck should be used to ensure that the circuit breaker is positioned accurately.
5. When storing the chassis trolley, a dry, ventilated place should be chosen and prolonged exposure to sunlight should be avoided to prevent the metal parts of the chassis trolley from rusting.
Through the use of chassis trucks, the installation and maintenance of hand truck-type vacuum circuit breakers will be more convenient and efficient. The stability and adjustable height of the chassis truck enable the circuit breaker to be applied flexibly in different working scenarios.
